Touring white marble palaces of Mysore if you move 80 kms you will experience how Nature has created a mystic aura under a leafy sky. You will be caught at once by swirling and meandering mist that undoubtedly creates an atmosphere of awe and wonder. I am talking about Kabini, the most famous wildlife destination located at Karnataka. Kabini is actually a river flowing through 3 national parks viz, Bandipur, Nagorhole and Madhumati.

It is heard that in that past the place used to be a hunting lodge of Rajas and some other Indian royalty for their ‘shikar’. When life becomes unbearable for the din and bustle of city life, it would be wiser to switch yourself off from all network of the outside world and wander around Kabini in the lap of nature. Here, morning is amazingly fresh that it gives a new zeal to life to fight the otherwise dull, drab and mundane life.

The nature in Kabini has blessed with all its wealth and offerings. Behind the background music of flowing river water you can take a jeep safari or a cicada ride to experience thrilling suspense in seeing wild animals mooching around you at any moment. You can easily notice herds of elephant but it is very hard to see a tiger as they usually live in the deepest forests.

Thus it should be noted that minors are to be controlled and not to be let free into deep forests. There are also make- shift watch towers on trees where you can watch the scenic vista of dense forest.
